Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte Plus Poreless Foundation Makeup, Coconut # 355
As a makeup artist and makeup lover I like to try different types of makeup products including foundation. I have seen several ads on TV advertising Maybelline fit me foundation,I was in need of a new inexpensive foundation so I decide to purchase the foundation.
First, thing that stuck out to me was the price, the foundation was less then $6.00.( a winner in my book)
Second ,was the packaging, I liked the rectangular thick glass bottle,if it is dropped the bottle will not break easily. The bottle is perfect to fit in purse or makeup bag.
Third was the label on the bottle, I like makeup products that the words do not easily rub off. When the word rub off, it prevents you from knowing the information about the product for repurchasing.
Forth, the foundation was very easy to match my skin. I think that anyone, no matter their makeup experience will be able to match their tone.
Fifth, I like the coverage , the foundation gave my face full coverage, and I did not have to use a lot of product.
With the pro's ,there is con's
I have been using this product for a month,I only have one con!
Within a couple of hours my face is super oily.I always use a mattifying face primer, and setting powder and setting spray,however, with all that I am still oily.
I will be trying milk of magnesia as a primer next!

I feel it is a great product! If you have oily skin apply a good mattifying primer because you may get oily in a few hours.

I love this foundation! This is the color that I use in the Dewy! I notice that its slightly different int he Matte version. I want to try that one too!

ReplyDeleteFirst, I love the price, it gives me great coverage. I don't have to use a lot of product. It is easy to apply, and it don't dry fast while applying it.
DeleteI used to use this foundation a while ago and I agree my skin did feel oily after a few hours, but for the price and coverage it's a good option to have on hand!

DeleteI love this foundation! The original formula was the first foundation I ever finished & I'm still a fan. I even like the Matte version even though I'm more dry. I noticed you said you were having issues with your oil still seeping through. Have you tried setting your primer with a light layer of your setting powder? This may help to give you a little extra protection before you apply it
